Volunteer Staffing Opportunities 2022: DVM’s and RVT/CVT’s Needed!
Take a weekend “spaycation” with Pawesome this summer to Native American lands and help teach veterinary students, and new grad vets, high volume spay and neuter techniques while providing much needed veterinary aid to the reservation lands of the Four Corners – AZ, NM, CO, UT.
Pawesome is looking for veterinarians and veterinary technicians with experience in HVHQ spay and neuter field anesthesia to join us one weekend a month over May, June, July, and August. You will work together as a professional team and be responsible for a small team of veterinary students/new grads, who are developing their skills and surgical times, and require support and additional guidance by you. All surgeries are performed under gas anesthesia in a mobile clinic setting.
DVM/RVT or equivalent. Please only apply for this position if you have a background in high volume spay and neuter. Experience in teaching is a plus.
Approved volunteer staff will receive per diem compensation for their time as well a travel stipend to get to our central meeting point (Phoenix). All volunteer staff regardless of compensation are provided with food, drinks, accommodation, and work related transport while on location with Pawesome.
